The Bad Liebenwerda office was an office in the state of Brandenburg formed in 1992 , in which seven municipalities in the then Bad Liebenwerda district (after the district reform in 1993 in the Elbe-Elster district , Brandenburg ) had merged to form an administrative association. The seat of the official administration was in the city of Bad Liebenwerda . It was dissolved again in 1993, and the municipalities belonging to the office were incorporated into the city of Bad Liebenwerda by the third law on municipal organization in the state of Brandenburg. The Bad Liebenwerda office had 9032 inhabitants at the end of 1992.

Geographical location

The Bad Liebenwerda office bordered the Wahrenbrück and Elsterland offices in the north, the Plessa office in the east, the city of Elsterwerda and the Röderland office in the southeast, the Free State of Saxony in the south and the Mühlberg / Elbe office in the west .

On July 13, 1992, the Minister of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg gave his consent to the formation of the Bad Liebenwerda office. July 21, 1992 was set as the date of establishment of the office. The office was based in the city of Bad Liebenwerda and consisted of seven communities in what was then the Bad Liebenwerda district (in the order in which they were named in the official gazette):

  6. Neuburxdorf
  7. City of Bad Liebenwerda

The communities Kröbeln, Neuburxdorf, Prieschka, Theisa, Thalberg and Zobersdorf were on the 5th / 6th. December 1993 incorporated into the city of Bad Liebenwerda by the third law on community structure in the state of Brandenburg. The Bad Liebenwerda office was dissolved again.
