The Röderland Office was an office in Brandenburg formed in 1992 , in which six municipalities in the then Bad Liebenwerda district (since 1993 Elbe-Elster district , Brandenburg) had come together to form an administrative association. The official seat was in the municipality of Prösen . The office was dissolved again in 2003 and the municipalities belonging to the office were incorporated into the municipality of Röderland. The office had last (end of 2002) a total of 4941 inhabitants.

Geographical location

The Röderland office bordered the Bad Liebenwerda office in the north, the city of Elsterwerda in the east, the Schradenland office in the south and the Free State of Saxony in the west .

history

On September 2, 1992, the Minister of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg gave his approval for the establishment of the Röderland Office. September 15, 1992 was set as the date of establishment of the office. The office was based in the municipality of Prösen and initially consisted of six municipalities in what was then the Bad Liebenwerda district (in the order in which they were named in the official gazette):

  1. Toast
  2. Seed Grove
  3. Stolzenhain on the Röder
  4. Reichenhain
  5. Wainsdorf
  6. Haida

The assignment of the municipality Wainsdorf to the office Schradenland was canceled with effect from September 15, 1992, the municipality was assigned to the office Röderland.

On February 11, 2002, the Ministry of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg approved the formation of the new municipality of Röderland from the municipalities of Haida, Prösen, Reichenhain, Saathain, Stolzenhain ad Röder and Wainsdorf of the Röderland office. The formation of the new parish only became legally effective on October 26, 2003. The Röderland office was dissolved on the same date. The Würdenhain district of the Haida community also became a district of the Röderland community, which now has seven districts.

The last official director was Heiderose Hubrig, who became mayor of the Röderland community in 2003.
