In the Malchow-Land (former Müritz district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ) the 13 communities Adamshoffnung, Alt Schwerin , Göhren-Lebbin , Grüssow, Kogel, Lexow , Nossentiner Hütte , Penkow , Rogeez, Satow, Silz , Walow and Zislow were to Do their administrative business together. The administrative seat was in the non-official city of Malchow .

At the same time as the merger of the previously independent communities Adamshoffnung, Grüssow, Kogel, Rogeez and Satow to form the new community of Fünfseen and the incorporation of Lexow into Walow, the Malchow-Land office was dissolved on January 1, 2005.
