Rangsdorf Office

The Rangsdorf Office was an office formed in 1992 to handle the administrative tasks of the communities of Dahlewitz , Groß Machnow and Rangsdorf in the former Zossen district (today Teltow-Fläming district , Brandenburg ). The seat of the official administration was in the municipality of Rangsdorf. With the municipal reform of 2003, the Rangsdorf office was dissolved.

The Office Rangsdorf bordered to the north and northwest by the Office Mahlow , on the east by the Office Mittenwalde and in the south and southwest by the Office Zossen .

On September 10, 1992, the Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg gave his consent to the formation of the Rangsdorf office. September 15, 1992 was set as the date of this. The approval was limited to September 15, 1994. The official seat was in the municipality of Rangsdorf. The following communities were united in the Rangsdorf office:

The community of Groß Machnow was initially affiliated to the Blankenfelde-Mahlow office on July 20, 1992 (with effect from August 12, 1992). The time limit was lifted on September 12, 1994, but was subject to a right of revocation until December 31, 2001. On March 1, 1995, the spelling of the name was changed from Großmachnow to Groß Machnow.

The first and only official director of the Rangsdorf office was Bernd Hohlstein.

The Rangsdorf office was dissolved by the fourth law on state-wide municipal area reform relating to the districts of Havelland, Potsdam-Mittelmark, Teltow-Fläming (4th GemGebRefGBbg) of March 24, 2003 . The community Dahlewitz was affiliated to the now free community Blankenfelde-Mahlow . The community of Groß Machnow lodged a local constitutional complaint against the incorporation in Rangsdorf, but this was rejected.
