The Mittenwalde office was an office in the state of Brandenburg formed in 1992 , in which six municipalities in what was then the district of Königs Wusterhausen (now the district of Dahme-Spreewald , Brandenburg ) had come together to form an administrative association. The seat of the official administration was in the city of Königs Wusterhausen . The Mittenwalde office was dissolved in 2003 and the municipalities belonging to the office were incorporated into the city of Mittenwalde .

Geographical location

The Office Mittenwalde bordered to the north by the Office Schoenefeld , the northeast and the east on the office-level city Koenigs Wusterhausen , to the east and southeast by the municipality and Bestensee , in the southeast and south by the Schenkenländchen , on the west by the Office Zossen and to the Office Rangsdorf and in the northwest to the Office Blankenfelde-Mahlow .

In the course of the formation of offices in the state of Brandenburg, eight communities from the districts of Königs Wusterhausen and Zossen merged to form the Mittenwalde office. On June 23, 1992, the Minister of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg gave his consent to the formation of this office. June 26, 1992 was set as the date of establishment of the office. The office was based in the city of Mittenwalde . The following municipalities (in the order as published in the Official Journal) were part of it:

  1. Ragow
  2. Brusendorf
  3. Schenkendorf
  4. Telz
  5. Gallun
  6. Moan
  7. Töpchin and the city
  8. Mittenwalde

With the municipal reform in 2003 in Brandenburg, the municipalities of Brusendorf, Gallun, Motzen, Ragow, Schenkendorf, Telz and Töpchin were incorporated into the city of Mittenwalde by law on October 26, 2003. The Mittenwalde office was dissolved and the city of Mittenwalde became an office.
