The Office Schönefeld was an office in the state of Brandenburg formed in 1992 , in which eight municipalities in what was then the district of Königs Wusterhausen (today the district of Dahme-Spreewald , Brandenburg ) had come together to form an administrative association. The seat of the official administration was in the community of Schönefeld . The office of Schönefeld was dissolved again in 2003.

Geographical location

The office Schönefeld bordered in the north on Berlin (districts Treptow-Köpenick , Neukölln and Tempelhof-Schöneberg ), in the east on the unofficial municipalities Schulzendorf , Zeuthen and Wildau , in the south on the unofficial city of Königs Wusterhausen and the office Mittenwalde and in the west on the Office Blankenfelde-Mahlow ( Teltow-Fläming district ).

history

On June 23, 1992, the Minister of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg approved the creation of the Schönefeld Office. June 26, 1992 was set as the date of establishment of the office. The office was located in the municipality of Schönefeld and initially consisted of eight municipalities in what was then the district of Königs Wusterhausen :

  1. Diepensee
  2. Groß Ziethen
  3. Kiekebusch
  4. Schönefeld
  5. Selchow
  6. Waltersdorf
  7. Wassmannsdorf
  8. Rotberg

On September 27, 1998, Waltersdorf and Rotberg merged to form a new community in Waltersdorf.

On October 26, 2003, the new community of Schönefeld was formed by law from the communities Großziethen, Kiekebusch, Schönefeld, Selchow, Waltersdorf and Waßmannsdorf. The office of Schönefeld was dissolved and the municipality of Schönefeld was made vacant.

On February 29, 2004 the community of Diepensee was devastated. The community area remained with the community of Schönefeld, the district was dissolved. The approximately 350 residents were relocated to Königs Wusterhausen. A new district of Diepensee was founded there, but it belongs to the city of Königs Wusterhausen.

Office Director

Klaus Huhndorf was the official director until 1997. In January 1998 Udo Haase was elected as the new official director.
