from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Blankenfelde-Mahlow Office was an office formed in 1992 to handle the administrative tasks of initially five municipalities in the north of what was then the district of Zossen (today the district of Teltow-Fläming , Brandenburg ). In 1992, Groß Machnow was incorporated as the sixth municipality, which, however, was incorporated into the Rangsdorf district in the same year . The administrative seat was in the municipality of Blankenfelde . The office of Blankenfelde-Mahlow was dissolved again in 2003.

Geographical location

The Blankenfelde-Mahlow office bordered the state of Berlin in the north, the Schönefeld office in the east, the Mittenwalde office in the southeast, the Rangsdorf office in the south and the Ludwigsfelde-Land office in the west .

The Blankenfelde-Mahlow office was founded on January 1, 1992 and approved on February 13, 1992 with effect from February 28, 1992 as one of the first offices in the state of Brandenburg. The administrative seat was in the municipality of Blankenfelde.

The following municipalities were initially combined in the Blankenfelde-Mahlow office:

  1. Blankenfelde
  2. Mahlow with the district of Glasow
  3. Great Kienitz
  4. Jühnsdorf
  5. Diedersdorf

The total number of inhabitants at the beginning of 1992 was 13,237 inhabitants according to the historical municipality register.

On July 20, 1992 (with effect from August 12, 1992), Groß Machnow was also incorporated into the Blankenfelde-Mahlow office. With the formation of the Rangsdorf Office on September 15, 1992, Groß Machnow was incorporated into the Rangsdorf Office.

Office Director

The first director of the Blankenfelde-Mahlow office was the former mayor of Blankenfelde Dietmar Klemt. At that time he agreed on a town partnership with Bad Ems . With the dissolution of the Blankenfelde-Mahlow office, Dietmar Klemt retired. From February 1, 2001 until the end of his office in 2003, Ortwin Baier was the deputy official director, who later became mayor of the municipality of Blankenfelde-Mahlow, which was vacant from 2003.
