Office Schildow

The Schildow office was an office in the state of Brandenburg formed in 1992 , in which initially five municipalities of the then Oranienburg district (today Oberhavel district , Brandenburg ) had merged to form an administrative association. The official seat was initially in the community of Schildow , from 1995 in the community of Mühlenbeck. The Schildow office was dissolved again in 2003.

Geographical location

The Schildow office comprised two areas separated from one another by a bulge in the state of Berlin. Stolpe and Stolpe-Süd bordered Hennigsdorf to the north, the State of Berlin to the east and south and the city of Hohen Neuendorf to the west . The eastern area (today the municipality of Mühlenbecker Land) bordered the Oranienburg-Land office in the north, the Wandlitz office in the east, Berlin and Glienicke / Nordbahn in the south and Berlin and Hohen Neuendorf in the west.

On July 26, 1992, the Minister of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg approved the formation of the Schildow Office. July 31, 1992 was set as the date of establishment of the office. The office initially had its seat in the municipality of Schildow and initially consisted of five municipalities in what was then the district of Oranienburg :

  1. Mühlenbeck
  2. Schildow
  3. Schönfließ
  4. Stolpe village
  5. Stolpe-South

The community of Zühlsdorf, which was initially assigned to the Wandlitz office, came to the Schildow office only a little later.

On October 16, 1995 the official seat of Schildow was relocated to the community of Mühlenbeck. The town hall of Mühlenbeck, built in 1935, was converted into an official building. On May 1, 1998, the Stolpe-Süd community was incorporated into the city of Hennigsdorf .

On October 26, 2003, Mühlenbeck, Schildow and Schönfließ merged to form the new municipality of Mühlenbecker Land. The municipality of Zühlsdorf was incorporated into the municipality of Mühlenbecker Land on the same date . Also on October 26, 2003, Stolpe was incorporated into the town of Hohen Neuendorf. The Schildow office was dissolved on October 26, 2003, and the Mühlenbecker Land community was vacant.
