history
On June 25, 1992, the Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg gave his consent to the formation of the Wandlitz office. July 1, 1992 was set as the date on which the office was established. The office was based in the municipality of Wandlitz and initially consisted of eight municipalities in what was then the district of Bernau :
On August 20, 1992, the community of Zühlsdorf (then the district of Oranienburg ) was assigned to the Wandlitz office. Zühlsdorf later came to the Schildow office .
On October 26, 2003, the communities of Basdorf, Klosterfelde, Lanke, Prenden, Schönerlinde, Schönwalde, Stolzenhagen and Wandlitz of the Wandlitz office and the community of Zerpenschleuse of the Groß Schönebeck (Schorfheide) office were formed into the new (large) municipality of Wandlitz. The Wandlitz office was dissolved and the Wandlitz community became vacant. The municipalities of Basdorf, Klosterfelde, Lanke, Prenden, Schönerlinde, Schönwalde, Stolzenhagen and Wandlitz lodged a municipal constitutional complaint against their resolution before the constitutional court of Brandenburg, which, however, was rejected.
Office Director
