The office Groß Schönebeck (Schorfheide) , originally the office Groß Schönebeck (Schorfheide) -Land , was an office in Brandenburg formed in 1992 , in which five municipalities in what was then the district of Bernau (now the district of Barnim , Brandenburg) were combined into an administrative association. It was dissolved again in 2003, and the five municipalities that were formerly part of the government now belong to three different local authorities.

The office Groß Schönebeck (Schorfheide) bordered in the north on the office Zehdenick and municipalities and on the office Templin-Land , in the east on the office Joachimsthal (Schorfheide) and the office Barnim-Nord , in the south on the office Biesenthal-Barnim and office Wandlitz , and in the west to the Liebenwalde office .

history

On July 13, 1992, the Minister of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg gave his consent to the formation of the Groß Schönebeck (Schorfheide) -Land office. July 31, 1992 was set as the date of establishment of the office. The office was located in the community of Groß Schönebeck (Schorfheide) and initially consisted of five communities in what was then the district of Bernau:

  1. Gross Schönebeck
  2. Zerpenschleuse
  3. Sophienstädt
  4. Ruhlsdorf
  5. Marienwerder

The name was corrected in a notification of change to the Groß Schönebeck (Schorfheide) office.

With effect from May 1, 2001, the Ministry of the Interior approved the formation of a new official municipality Marienwerder from the municipalities Marienwerder and Sophienstädt. On December 31, 2002, Marienwerder and Ruhlsdorf formed a new community of Marienwerder.

On October 26, 2003, the new municipality of Wandlitz was formed from the municipality of Zerpenschleuse of the office Groß Schönebeck (Schorfheide) and the municipalities of Basdorf , Klosterfelde , Lanke , Prenden , Schönerlinde , Schönwalde , Stolzenhagen and Wandlitz of the office of Wandlitz . The municipality Marienwerder, which belongs to the office Groß Schönebeck (Schorfheide), was assigned to the office Biesenthal-Barnim . The offices of Groß Schönebeck (Schorfheide) and Wandlitz were dissolved, and the municipality of Wandlitz became vacant. Zerpenschleuse has been part of Wandlitz since then. The community of Groß Schönebeck also merged with the (greater) community of Finowfurt on October 26, 2003 to form the new, non-official community of Schorfheide and has since been part of the community of Schorfheide.

Office Director

Volkmar Schönfeld was the official director when the office in Groß Schönebeck (Schorfheide) was dissolved.
