The Panketal Office was an office in the state of Brandenburg formed in 1992 , in which initially seven municipalities of the then Bernau district (today Barnim district , Brandenburg ) had merged to form an administrative association. The official seat was initially in the community of Schönow , then in Zepernick . The Panketal office was dissolved again in 2003. In the end it only consisted of three parishes.

Geographical location

The Panketal office almost included the city of Bernau. It bordered on the north by the town of Bernau and the Office Wandlitz , in the northeast on the Biesenthal-Barnim , on the east by the Office Werneuchen , the south by the Office Ahrensfelde / Blumberg and to the west by the state of Berlin.

history

On July 3, 1992, the Minister of the Interior gave his consent to the formation of the Panketal Office, which was set to take place on July 10, 1992. The seat of the official administration was initially in the community of Schönow. The following seven municipalities from what was then the Bernau district were included:

On July 1, 2001, the official municipality of Ladeburg was incorporated into the city of Bernau near Berlin. The changed office Panketal thus consisted of the following communities: Börnicke, Lobetal, Rüdnitz, Schönow, Schwanebeck, Zepernick.

On December 31, 2002, the municipality of Rüdnitz was assigned to the Biesenthal-Barnim office. Also with effect from December 31, 2002, the communities Börnicke and Lobetal were incorporated into the city of Bernau.

In a communication dated November 20, 2002, the Ministry of the Interior approved the merger of the municipalities of Schwanebeck and Zepernick to form the new municipality of Panketal . The merger only became legally effective on October 26, 2003.

On October 26, 2003, the Schönow community was finally incorporated into the city of Bernau near Berlin . The Panketal office was dissolved, and the Panketal community was thus free of office.
