Großdorf district
The Großdorf district was a Prussian district in the Johannisburg district ( Gumbinnen district , from 1905: Allenstein district ) in the province of East Prussia , which was founded on April 8, 1874. The district, which was originally called "Belzonzen district", was given the name Großdorf district on November 15, 1938.
When it was founded in 1874, the district consisted of 14 villages with the capital Großdorf .

On January 1, 1945, the district was formed by the villages of Dünen, Erztal, Flosten, Fröhlichen, Großdorf, Kölmerfelde, Ludwigshagen, Mühlengrund, Paulshagen, Richtenberg, Schwiddern, Siegenau, Steinen and Woinen.
