The Mautern district was an administrative unit in the Brucker Kreis in Styria between 1853 and 1867 .
The district was subordinate to the district authority in Bruck an der Mur and took care of their official business on site. In addition to Mautern , the responsibility extended to the communities of Kallwang , Kammern and Wald .
