District court Bochum
The Bochum District Court , based in the city of Bochum, is a court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of the five district courts (AG) in the district of the Bochum Regional Court .
Jurisdiction and areas of responsibility
The judicial district only includes the area of the independent city of Bochum.
Superior courts
The Bochum District Court, the Hamm Higher Regional Court and the Federal Court of Justice are superordinate to the Bochum District Court.
Until 1892, the Bochum District Court belonged to the Essen District Court , after which it became part of the Bochum District Court , which was then newly established.
