District court Xanten

The district court of Xanten was a district court based in Xanten in the Wesel district .

The court belonged to the district of the district court of Kleve . In 1979 it was converted into a branch of the Rheinberg District Court and finally closed in 1993. Since then, the tasks have been performed by the Rheinberg District Court.

The courthouse at Viktorstrasse 1, built in 1881 in the Wilhelminian style, is now used as a residential building and practice. It is under monument protection and is registered under No. 24 in the list of monuments.
