Rheinberg is the seat of the Rheinberg District Court , which is responsible for the communities of Alpen and Sonsbeck as well as for the cities of Kamp-Lintfort , Rheinberg and Xanten in the western part of the Wesel district. Around 114,000 people live in the 325 km² judicial district . It is also responsible for the district court district of Moers in agricultural matters.

Superior courts

The regional court above the Rheinberg District Court is the Kleve Regional Court , which in turn is subordinate to the Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court .
