Ana Roxana Lehaci (born August 11, 1990 in Medgidia , Constanța district , Romania ) is an Austrian canoeist in canoe racing with the single kayak (K1) and the two-person kayak (K2). In 2016 she took part in the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro for Austria .
Life
Ana Roxana Lehaci was born in Romania as the daughter of canoeist Vasile Lehaci . In 1994 she moved with her family to Austria, until 1998 they lived in Styria and since then in Linz . In 1999 she received Austrian citizenship .
Since 2013, she and Viktoria Schwarz , both from the Schnecke Linz association , have been forming a team in a two-person kayak (K2). Up until the Olympic Games in 2016 they were coached by the Italian Guglielmo Guerrini , after which Vasile Lehaci stepped in as their coach. They have been trained by Stjepan Janić since February 2018 . At the Canoe Racing World Championships 2018 in Portugal, the duo Lehaci / Schwarz reached seventh place in a kayak two-man over 500 meters in the finals, and at the Canoe Racing World Championships 2019 in Szeged they finished eighth.
At the 2016 Summer Olympics , Ana Lehaci and Yvonne Schuring took part in the 500 m two-man kayak discipline , where they both finished 11th.
