Anastassija Savelyevna Chebotaryova

Anastassija Saweljewna Tschebotarjowa ( Russian Анастаси́я Саве́льевна Чеботарёва , also English Anastasia Chebotareva ; born August 8, 1972 in Odessa ) is a Russian violinist .

Anastasija Chebotaryova has diplomas from the Central Music School in Moscow and from the Moscow Conservatory in Irina Botschkova's class. She made her debut in 1989 at the Paganini competition in Genoa, where she came in fourth. In 1991 she received first prize at the International Youth Music Festival and in 1992 first prize and a special prize at the Rodolfo Lipizer International Competition in Italy. In 1994 she shared second prize with Jennifer Koh at the 10th Tchaikovsky Competition , a first was not awarded.

She played with the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra of Radio Moscow under Vladimir Ivanovich Fedoseev , the St. Petersburg Philharmonic , the Vienna Chamber Orchestra and the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra . Chebotaryova has performed as a soloist all over the world, for example in the London Royal Albert Hall , the Bonn Beethoven Hall , the Vienna Konzerthaus and the Linz Brucknerhaus , in the Athens Music Palace, the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space Hall and the Tokyo Opera City as well as in the large halls of the Moscow Conservatory, the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic and the George Hall of the Kremlin Palace in Moscow.

She is a soloist with the Moscow Symphony Orchestra . In 2004 she was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Russia . Chebotaryova lives in Japan .
