Anatoly Lvovich Kubatski

Anatoli Lwowitsch Kubazki ( Russian Анатолий Львович Кубацкий ; born November 1, 1908 in Moscow ; † December 29, 2001 there ) was a Soviet actor.

Life and accomplishments

Kubazki, whose ancestors came from Poland, began to appear in the Russian Academic Youth Theater in 1928 and made his cinema debut that same year. From 1931 he also worked for the radio. From 1942 to 1957 Kubazki had engagements at the Mayakovsky Theater and immediately afterwards he was engaged for the Gorki Studio , where from then on he was v. a. Alexander Rous played supporting roles in various fairy tale films . Kubazki was still active at the age of 80, his filmography includes more than 100 roles, e.g. T. also as a voice actor. In 2008, his career was the subject of an episode of the documentary series Человек в кадре ( Tschelowek w kadre ).

Private

Kubazki was married to Raisa Elpert-Halperin, and the marriage resulted in a son. He died in Moscow at the age of 93 and found his final resting place in the Pyatnitskoye cemetery .
