The Andalusia Township is one of 18 townships in the skirt Iceland County in the northwest of the US -amerikanischen state of Illinois . In 2010 the Andalusia Township had 2299 inhabitants.

The Andalusia Township is located in northwest Illinois, on the left bank of the Mississippi , which forms the border with Iowa . The border with Wisconsin runs around 140 km north, that of Missouri around 170 km southwest.
The Andalusia Township lies at 41 ° 26'11 "north latitude and 90 ° 43'16" west longitude and extends over 40.4 km², which is spread over 33.2 km² of land and 7.25 km² of water.
The Andalusia Township is located in the western center of Rock Island County and is bordered by the Mississippi in the north on the Muscatine and Scott Counties . Within Rock Island County, Andalusia Township is bordered by Blackhawk Township in the east, Bowling Township in the southeast , Edgington Township in the south and Buffalo Prairie Township in the west .
