Andi Niessner
Andreas "Andi" Niessner (born February 25, 1967 in Munich ) is a German film director .
Life
After completing his diploma in economics in Munich in 1986 and one year of community service, Niessner began working as a producer for musicals. After a while, he also began working as a freelance filmmaker for advertising, feature and television films. From 1996 he studied production and media management at the University of Television and Film Munich . At the same time he began to direct advertising films. After several staged and award-winning short films, he made his debut as a director of a feature film with the 2002 television love comedy Santa Claudia .
