The housewife Marie is surprised by the tragic death of her husband. Suddenly she has to look after her family on her own. Fortunately, her husband was an entrepreneur, so she takes over the business. To her astonishment, however, she has to discover that this company is a porn film production. She overcomes her aversion to the industry and leads “MarieX” to old successes. She also falls in love with the attractive porn actor Roy.

“'Of all things sex' is a not unoriginal 'sex sells' comedy, which adds a criticism of social prejudice and petty-bourgeois double standards to pornography (as a subject) and an erotic ambience, and foams it up into easy-to-appreciate TV fun. The film does not purport to show what happens in the porn industry. The we-are-one-big-family romance always works well in films, but the set reality remains mere decor for the heroine's "transformation".
