Johanna Baumann (* 1934 ) is a German actress .

Life

Baumann studied acting with Hanna Umlandt from 1960 to 1963. After completing her studies, she had her first engagement with Eduard Loibner at the Volkstheater im Sonnenhof in Munich ; it stayed there until its closure in 1972. Afterwards there were engagements at various Munich theaters. She also appeared several times at the Munich Volkstheater . She is also active as a speaker at the Munich Marionette Theater.

Baumann also regularly took on roles on Bavarian television . Baumann worked for the Bavarian Radio in some recordings of the television series Der Komödienstadel . In 1972 she had the role of Vroni in the comedy Mattheis breaks ice . In 1973 she was seen in the comedy nobility in the folk play The Three Village Saints as the maid Vroni.

She also played in the television series White Blue Stories , Munich 7 , Café Perjury or in the crime series Derrick and Der Alte . In 1998/1999 she worked under the direction of Peter Weissflog in his television series Tales from the Neighbor House . In 1992 she played the leading serial role of landlady Maria Kerschbaumer, who runs a small inn on the Hirschbergalm with her husband, in the Bavarian family series Im Schatten der Gipfel . In the Bavarian sitcom Spezlwirtschaft , she has played the role of Ms. Ratzinger, a regular customer in the beverage market, since 2008.

Baumann has also appeared in several episodes of the crime series Tatort since 1977 . In 2008 she played the mother of a murdered noble prostitute in the episode Der oide Depp at the Tatort of Bayerischer Rundfunk .

Baumann also worked as a director. Since 2000 she has staged seven plays for the Volkstheater BayArt eV , including dialect versions in Bavarian of Molière's The Imaginary Ill and Kleist's The Broken Jug . In 2007, she staged there, the comedy Figaro gets a divorce from Odon von Horváth .
