Julia Thurnau (born May 21, 1974 in Munich ) is a German actress .

Julia Thurnau grew up in faience in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur on. Already during her school days she appeared in several plays. After her international Bac á L'oreat, she went through the casting for a role in the television series That's Life! The Wagenfelds . In that year she also appeared in the movie After Five in the Jungle . She took part in seminars based on the method acting - and the Chekhov method . Later she attended a private drama school in Munich and continued her studies at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin.

Julia Thurnau lives in Berlin and has been represented by the ZAV artist agency in Munich since 2010 .

After numerous leading roles in German television films, she played Madame de Guémenée in Pierre Aknine's feature film The Three Musketeers , from 2010 to 2013 the Marquise de Crequis in the historical crime series Nicholas le Floch and a director of the Association of German Girls in the historical film Les malgrés elles .

From 2014 to 2015 she played the detective superintendent Caro Haffner in the ZDF crime series last trace Berlin , who takes over the pregnancy replacement for Mina Amiri ( Jasmin Tabatabai ). In 2015 she took on the role of public prosecutor in Friedemann Fromm's film Momentversagen .

Thurnau made her debut as a director in 2003 with the short film Ondinas . In 2013 she completed her studies in fine arts as a master student in the Lensbased class at the Berlin University of the Arts . Julia Thurnau is active as an artist under the pseudonym ClaudeHilde .
