action

The aging advertising specialist Timo Wittmann is surprisingly presented with the talented Susanne Andersen as boss. He then quits his job, but after a few rejuvenation measures, disguised as a 30-year-old copywriter, hires the advertising agency again in order to avenge himself for his demotion.

Only the intern Franzi sees through the masquerade and wants to blackmail Wittmann by threatening to let his plan of revenge blown. To make matters worse, he falls in love with his new boss and now wants to put an end to the game of confusion.

Reviews

"The set pieces may not be new, but the story is very entertaining."

“The cast is pretty good for an ARD Friday comedy. Felix Eitner is almost an ideal cast (it is not because of him that his disguise show doesn’t work out), and Jürgen Tarrach, as best friend, bravely charges through the well-known comedy clichés. All secondary characters are also “creatively” cast. [...] Conclusion: Because purification and love push themselves to the fore too penetratingly and the structural comedy craft is neglected, "Forever 30" entertains well below its possibilities. "

- Rainer Tittelbach

“There is little in this extremely fast-paced chaos comedy, except for the last quarter, that has not already been seen in other films - and not only in travesty classics like ' Tootsie ' or ' Mrs. Doubtfire - The Prickly Nanny '. Nevertheless, one follows the predictable turn of the plot with great pleasure and smiles at some tongue-in-cheek allusions. "
