Philip Voges

Philip Voges (* 1966 in Hamburg ) is a German film and television producer .

Life

Philip Voges attended high school in Eppendorf and graduated from high school in 1986. From 1987 to 1988 he was a soldier in the NATO HQ AFCENT in Brunssum, Netherlands. He then spent a year in France. From 1989 to 1991 Voges trained as a publishing clerk at the publishing house of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung . In the same year he began studying " Production and Media Management " at the Munich University of Television and Film , which he successfully completed in 1995.

At the beginning of 1996 Voges founded the production company Hofmann & Voges Entertainment GmbH (later H & V Entertainment GmbH) together with Mischa Hofmann . In 2007 he sold Hofmann & Voges Entertainment together with his partner Mischa Hofmann to Odeon Film AG.

On November 1, 2010, he left Hofmann & Voges Entertainment GmbH (later H & V Entertainment), for which he had continued to work as managing director until then. Shortly afterwards he founded the production company Chestnut Films GmbH & Co KG.

On April 1, 2017, Voges returned to H&V Entertainment as a producer.
