Mischa Hofmann

Mischa Hofmann (* 1967 in Munich ) is a German film producer .

Life

Mischa Hofmann graduated in 1995 with a degree in “Production and Media Management” at the University of Television and Film Munich and founded Hofmann & Voges Entertainment GmbH in 1996 with Philip Voges , today's H & V Entertainment GmbH. From 1998 to 2004, Mischa Hofmann was a board member of the Federal Association of Television Producers and from 2002 to 2004 a member of the jury for the German Television Prize.

H & V Entertainment GmbH has been part of Odeon Film AG since March 2007 . Mischa Hofmann was initially a member of the Odeon Film Board, from March 2009 she represented the group as Board Spokesman and has been the sole director since May 1, 2010.

Mischa Hofmann is responsible for films such as Erkan & Stefan , for which he won the VGF Young Producer Award, or John Rabe , for which he was awarded the German Film Prize 2009 and the Bavarian Film Prize as best producer . H & V Entertainment GmbH stands for a large number of TV movies as well as series such as KDD - Criminal Continuous Service and Turkish for Beginners , both of which have won the German Television Award, for the series Kluftinger and Harter Brocken and with their label Monaco Film for the series Der Kriminalist.
