André Gueye (born January 6, 1967 in Pallo-Youga , Senegal ) is Bishop of Thiès .
Life
André Gueye was ordained deacon on December 14, 1991 and the sacrament of priestly ordination on June 27, 1992 .
On January 18, 2013, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Thiès. The Archbishop of Dakar , Cardinal Théodore-Adrien Sarr , donated him episcopal ordination on May 25 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Ludwig Schick , Archbishop of Bamberg , and Benjamin Ndiaye , Bishop of Kaolack .
