André Höflich (born April 28, 1997 in Kempten ) is a German snowboarder . He starts in the halfpipe discipline .

Career

Höflich, who starts for SC Kempten , finished 46th in slopestyle and 27th in the halfpipe at the Junior World Championships 2013 in Erzurum and 35th in the halfpipe at the 2015 Junior World Championships in Yabuli . He made his debut in the Snowboard World Cup in March 2015 in Park City , which he finished in 38th place. In February 2016 he finished second in the Audi Snowboard Series and at the same time in the European Cup in Davos and in the Shred Down Austrian Masters in Kühtai . In the 2016/17 season he took third place at the Cardrona Games and 32nd place at the 2017 Snowboard World Championships in Sierra Nevada . In the 2018/19 season he won the Audi Snowboard Series and at the same time European Cup in Laax and came second at the Austrian & German Masters in Kühtai. At the season highlight, the Snowboard World Championships 2019 in Park City, he came in 19th place. After first place in the FIS race in Copper Mountain at the beginning of the 2019/20 season, he achieved four top ten placements, ninth place in the Freestyle World Cup and fifth place in the Halfpipe World Cup. At the Winter X Games 2020 in Aspen , he finished 11th.
