Andréas Winding

Andréas Winding (born February 2, 1928 in Cagnes-sur-Mer , † August 18, 1977 in Paris ) was a French cameraman .

Life

Andréas Winding was trained as a cameraman at the ÉNPC film school. As an assistant u. a. by Claude Renoir , he worked in French entertainment cinema in the 1950s. As head cameraman from 1962, Winding photographed documentaries, artistically demanding works as well as routine entertainment films. He received a nomination for César for best camera in 1978 for The Prosecutor .
