Andrés Vombergar (born November 20, 1994 in Villa Luzuriaga ) is an Argentinian - Slovenian football player .
Club career
Vombergar began his career at CA Ituzaingó . For the 2015 season he moved to the third division CA Fénix . He made his debut for Fénix in the Primera B Metropolitana in February 2015 against CA Brown . His first goal in the third division he scored in the same month in a 1-0 win over Deportivo Merlo . In his first season at Fénix Vombergar came to 38 missions in which he scored ten goals.
After he made 19 appearances in the 2016 season, in which he had scored three goals, he moved to the second division CA Los Andes for the 2016/17 season . He made his debut in the Primera B Nacional in September 2016 when he came on as a substitute for Maximiliano García in the 81st minute against Villa Dálmine on matchday two of that season . He scored his first goal for Los Andes in November 2016 in a 3-1 win over the All Boys . At the end of the season he had 36 appearances in the second division, in which he scored 13 goals.
For the 2017/18 season Vombergar moved to Slovenia for NK Olimpija Ljubljana . He made his debut in the 1st SNL in August 2017 when he came on as a substitute for Tomislav Tomić in the 73rd minute against NK Ankaran on matchday six of that season . He scored his first goal in the top Slovenian league in September 2017 in a 4-2 win against NK Krško . By the end of the season he came to 16 missions for Olimpija Ljubljana in the league and scored four goals. He was also Slovenian champions and cup winners with the club that season.
In February 2019 he moved to Russia for FK Ufa , where he received a contract that ran until June 2022. He made his debut in the Premjer League in March 2019 when he came on as a substitute for Olivier Thill in the 85th minute against FK Dynamo Moscow on matchday 18 of the 2018/19 season .
National team career
On January 24, 2019 Vombergar made his debut in a friendly international match against a Chinese selection in the B national team of Slovenia and scored a goal in the 2-2 draw.
