Andrea Bettiga

Andrea Bettiga (born March 19, 1960 in Glarus , resident in Trin ) is a Swiss politician ( FDP ).

Bettiga is a doctor of veterinary medicine . From 1984 to 1988 he worked as a veterinarian, then for various pharmaceutical companies . He was elected to the government council of the Canton of Glarus on April 20, 2008 . He was previously a member of the Glarus District Administrator since 2007 . 2010-12 he was the country's governors and the 2012-14 Landammann . Bettiga, who completed a postgraduate degree in economics with a focus on marketing from 1999 to 2001, is a member of several boards of directors, including those of the Linth-Limmern power plants , the Sernftal car company and the Braunwaldbahn . The father of three children is married and lives in Ennenda .
