Andrea Hahmann

Andrea Hahmann (* 3. June 1966 in Ludwigsfelde as Andrea Lange ) is a former German Central and long-distance runner who in the 1980s for the DDR started.

In 1987 and 1988 she was GDR runner-up over 1500 meters outdoors and in 1988 indoors. She won her only GDR championship title in 1990 in the indoor 3000 meter run .

At the World Athletics Championships in 1987 , she was fifth over 1500 meters. The following year she was in second place at the Olympic Games in Seoul over the same distance at the start of the home straight, but then fell back to sixth place.

At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1990 in Glasgow, she won the bronze medal over 3000 meters.

Andrea Hahmann started for the ASK Vorwärts Potsdam .
