Andreas Bönte

Andreas Bönte (born February 17, 1959 in Kiel ) is a German television journalist and deputy television director of Bayerischer Rundfunk as well as head of the BR television , ARD-alpha and 3sat program area .

Career

Bönte studied political science , communication science and sociology at the University of Munich . In 1985 he came to Bayerischer Rundfunk as a freelancer , where he works as a filmmaker, moderator and editor. From 1992 to 2005 he was director and moderator of the political magazine Report Munich . Together with BR editor Georg Scheller, Bönte developed the program Space Night for Bavarian TV in 1994 and oversaw the program for over 10 years. Since 2005, Bönte has been responsible for the strategic program planning as well as the further development of the program structure, program scheme and program quality of Bavarian TV as program officer for Bavarian TV and head of the program area Planning and Development Bavarian TV. At the same time he is deputy television director. From October 1, 2015 to February 29, 2016, Bönte acted as interim TV director. In 2007, Bönte developed the broadcast format Nachtlinie and has since acted as moderator and editor-in-chief for this series. He also moderates the studio part of the citizens' program Jetzt red i .

In 2005 he was appointed honorary professor for television journalism at the University of Würzburg-Schweinfurt . Bönte is a lecturer in "Communication and Media" at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich.

Awards

From the German Aerospace Society (DGLR), Bönte was awarded the “Corresponding Membership” (Honorary Fellow) with reference to Space Night “in recognition of his extraordinary contribution to the innovative and effective popularization of space travel ... with never before broad impact and fascination ... “excellent. In 2003 he was awarded the “Extraordinary Media Prize of the Association of Displaced Persons ” in his former function as deputy editor-in-chief of television for Bayerischer Rundfunk .
