Andreas Carlsson (born April 5, 1995 ) is a Swedish athlete who specializes in the high jump , but competes in numerous disciplines at national level.

Athletic career

Andreas Carlsson gained his first international experience in 2013 when he was eliminated from qualification at the Junior European Championships in Rieti with a skipped 2.03 m. Two years later he reached the final of the U23 European Championships in Tallinn , where he finished twelfth with 2.10 m. In 2017 he again took part in the U23 European Championships in Bydgoszcz , this time he failed in the long jump with 7.42 m in the qualification and also did not make it with the Swedish 4 x 400 meter relay with 3: 11.26 min the final.

In 2016 and 2019 Carlsson was the Swedish champion in the high jump outdoors and in 2017 and 2019 in the hall.
