Andreas Dieterich
Andreas Dieterich , also Father Narcissus (* 11 April 1717 in Central Trust , district Rhön-grave field ; † 23. December 1778 in Mainz ) was a German Augustinian - Father and organist .
Life
He was the son of a teacher. Dieterich (Father Narcissus) already worked as an organist in the monasteries in Erfurt , Würzburg , Uttenweiler and Lauingen (Danube) . Later he became the successor of Balthasar Wüst in the Augustinian monastery in Mainz and an equally important, now forgotten musician.
