Andreas Franke (born March 13, 1965 in Merseburg ) is a former German volleyball player .

Andreas Franke has played volleyball at SC Dynamo Berlin since 1978 . Here he was GDR Cup winner in 1982, 1983 and 1990 and GDR champion in 1990 . After the reunification, the setter played in the successful team of Bundesliga club Moerser SC at the side of Georg Grozer and became German champion in 1992 and German cup winner in 1991 and 1993 .

In the rankings of German volleyball , Andreas Franke took top positions in the "pass" category in 1991 and 1992. He played 100 times in the GDR national team and 50 times in the German national team .

Andreas Franke's son Fabian Franke is a basketball player .
