Andreas Gradinger (born March 27, 1983 in St. Pölten ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

As a player

Gradinger began his football career in Pottenbrunn . In 1992 he switched to the youth team at VSE St. Pölten . Between 1999 and 2000 he played in the academy of VfB Admira Wacker Mödling . In 2000 he moved to the BNZ St. Pölten .

For the 2002/03 season he moved to the second division Wiener Sportklub , for which he completed a second division game. For the 2003/04 season he moved to the regional division SKN St. Pölten . For the 2004/05 season he joined the Bundesliga club ASKÖ Pasching , where he was only used for the amateurs, the SK St. Magdalena .

For the 2006/07 season he returned to VfB Admira Wacker Mödling . There he scored his first goal in Austria's second-highest division, the First League . With Admira, he was forced to relegate to the regional league in 2007.

In January 2008 Gradinger moved to the regional division 1. FC Vöcklabruck . With Vöcklabruck he rose to the second division at the end of the season. Since he was rarely used there, he moved back to the now second-class SKN St. Pölten for the 2008/09 season. From the 2009/10 season he mainly played for the amateurs of St. Pölten. In his five and a half years at SKN he made 20 second division appearances for the professionals, and he was also used in at least 84 games for the amateurs.

In January 2014 Gradinger moved to SKU Amstetten in the Regionalliga Ost. In a year and a half at Amstetten, he made 17 regional league appearances. For the 2015/16 season he moved to the fourth-class SC Mannsdorf . With Mannsdorf he rose to the end of the season in the regional league. In four years at Mannsdorf, which was named FC Marchfeld Donauauen from the 2018/19 season , he made 53 league appearances.

For the 2019/20 season he switched to league competitor SC Wiener Neustadt , which was renamed 1. Wiener Neustädter SC in November 2019 .

As a trainer

Gradinger also acted as an assistant trainer at Mannsdorf from January 2019.
