Andreas Granerud Buskum started on July 27th and 28th 2013 for the first time in two competitions in Szczyrk in the FIS Cup , where he finished 70th and 41st. In the next two years, four more starts in the FIS Cup followed, until he finally made his debut in the Continental Cup on January 24th and 25th, 2015 in Planica , where he reached the 58th and 47th place. Since then, Buskum has regularly competed in the Continental Cup. In December 2016, he achieved his first Continental Cup points with two 16th places in Vikersund .
In March 2018, Buskum tried to make his debut in the ski jumping World Cup as part of the Norwegian national group at the competitions in Oslo and Lillehammer at Raw Air 2018 , but both times he did not qualify with places 58 and 57. In the overall ranking he finished 72nd with 193.2 points.
In the 2018/19 Continental Cup season , Buskum achieved his first podium in the Continental Cup with a second place in Klingenthal on January 6, 2019. Three weeks later, with a second and third place at the competitions in Planica, he took two more Continental Cup podium finishes.
