Andreas Loth (born February 26, 1972 in Schongau ) is a former German ice hockey player on the position of striker .
Career
Andreas Loth began his professional career in the 1991/92 season at EV Landshut in the ice hockey Bundesliga , with which he also qualified for the German ice hockey league in 1994 . After four years of active sport for Landshut, he moved to Austria for the 1996/97 season and played one season each for EC Graz , Vienna EV and VEU Feldkirch .
For the 1999/2000 season he moved again to Germany in the DEL. There the striker played for the Kassel Huskies , with whom he moved into the play-off semi-finals for the first three years in a row and in 2004 became German vice-cup winner. In his most successful sporting period, Loth was also appointed to the German national team as a "huskie" from 2000 to 2002 and was nominated for the DEL All-Star Game in 1999 and 2002 .
After five seasons in Kassel, he moved to ERC Ingolstadt in the 2004/05 season , which he left during the season and moved to the Kölner Haien . However, since he couldn't find a connection in the highest German ice hockey league, he ended his career in 2007 with two more seasons at EV Ravensburg in the ice hockey league .
