Andreas Martin Widmann
Andreas Martin Widmann (* 1979 in Mainz ) is a German literary scholar , essayist and writer .
He studied German , theater studies and English at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and received his doctorate with a thesis on counterfactual representation of history in postmodern novels .
In addition to contributions to anthologies, he published the novel Die Glückparade in 2012 and the novel Messias in 2018 .
From 2012 to 2016 he taught German language and literature in London as a DAAD lecturer at University College London (UCL). He has lived in Berlin-Pankow since 2016 and teaches at Bard College Berlin .
