Andreas Schumann (born June 16, 1952 ) is a former German soccer player . The offensive player played two Bundesliga games for Hertha BSC in the 1971/2 season .

Player career

Andreas Schumann played in the Hertha BSC amateur team in the 1971/72 season. The Bundesliga team had strengthened itself with the newcomers Erwin Hermandung , Erich Beer , Peter Gutzeit , Michael Sziedat and Hans Zengerle before the start of the season. At the end of the round, the amateur under coach Helmut Kronsbein made his Bundesliga debut against Arminia Bielefeld (1-1) on the 33rd matchday, June 23, 1972, on the left wing and immediately prepared Lorenz Horr's opening goal . A week later, on June 28th, Schumann played the game at VfL Bochum (2: 4) on the left wing over the full distance.
