Andreas copywriter
Andreas Texter (born January 14, 1960 in Ueckermünde ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and was a member of the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania from 2011 to 2016 .
biography
After graduating from high school and doing military service, Andreas Texter studied animal production with the NVA at the University of Rostock from 1981 to 1986. He then worked in an agricultural production cooperative until 1990 . He has been employed in the public service since 1992 and heads the public order office at the Am Stettiner Haff office.
politics
Texter has been a member of the city council of Ueckermünde and the district council of the Uecker-Randow district since 2004, and was its president from 2009 to 2011.
In the election on September 4, 2011 , he was elected to the state parliament in the constituency of Uecker-Randow I. In the election on September 4, 2016 , he ran again in the same constituency, but this time lost to his competitor Patrick Dahlemann (SPD).
