The Am Stettiner Haff office , based in Eggesin , was formed on December 31, 2004 from the former Ueckermünde-Land office and the formerly free city of Eggesin. In the Am Stettiner Haff office, 12 municipalities are united to carry out their administrative business.
The office is located in the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and borders on the Szczecin Lagoon and the Republic of Poland . In the middle of the office is the non-official city of Ueckermünde .
The area is characterized by the lagoon coast, the Ueckermünder Heide and the associated tourism, while agriculture and forestry also play a role.
May 25, 2014, the congregation left Torgelow-Holländerei the office at the Szczecin Lagoon and, after Torgelow in torgelow-ferdinandshof incorporated.

The office does not have an officially approved national emblem, neither a coat of arms nor a flag . The official seal is the small state seal with the coat of arms of the region of Western Pomerania . It shows an upright griffin with a raised tail and the inscription "AMT AM STETTINER HAFF".
