Andrei Alexejewitsch Tschernyschow ; Russian Андре́й Алексе́евич Чернышо́в ; (Born January 7, 1968 in Moscow ) is a former Russian soccer player and current soccer coach.

Chernyshev began his career in the youth team of Dynamo Moscow , since 1988 the defender was a regular in the first team. With Dynamo he reached third place in the Soviet Wysschaja league in the 1990 season . In 1992 he moved to local rivals Spartak Moscow , with this team he won the 1992 cup competition and in 1992 and 1993 , the Russian football championship. After returning to Dynamo Moscow in 1993 and becoming runner-up with this team in the 1994 season, he moved to Austria in 1994 for SK Sturm Graz . In Graz, Tschernyschow played in the position of libero and won the runner-up title twice with the team.

After a brief stint at PAOK Thessaloniki in Greece, he played in the 1997/98 season for SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the 2nd Bundesliga . Even with this club, he only came to a total of eight missions. After further short guest appearances in Belgium at Royal Antwerp and in Austria at DSV Leoben and BSV Bad Bleiberg , Tschernyschow ended his career in 2001 in Russia with the then second division club Rubin Kazan .

Chernyshev made his debut in 1990 in the national football team of the USSR . In total, he played for the Sbornaya seventeen times before the state collapsed . He took part with the selection of the CIS in the European Championship in 1992 and was used in all three games of his team during this tournament.
