In the next few years Drygin took part mainly in FIS races until he competed in his next World Cup races in January 2006. After two failures in the Super-G and the slalom in Kitzbühel , he achieved the first countable result on January 28th with 42nd and last place in the downhill from Garmisch-Partenkirchen . The next day he was classified as the last of the Super-G in 53rd place. This was his last World Cup race so far.
At the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin Drygin was again the only participant from Tajikistan. He finished 51st in the Super-G and in the Downhill, but was eliminated in the giant slalom. In the next few years Drygin started again in FIS races and celebrated his first victory in the Super-G of Scheregesch on March 23, 2009 . In January 2010 he competed in his first four European Cup races on Patscherkofel and in Les Orres . His best result was 73rd place in the Super-G at Les Orres, in the other three races he only crossed the finish line last. In February 2010, Drygin took part in the Olympic Winter Games for the third time and was again the only active player in his country. He achieved the penultimate or last, the 44th place in the Super-G and the 59th place in the downhill. In the giant slalom, he was 57th and left more than 20 racers behind.
