Andrei Wiktorowitsch Korabeinikow ( Russian Андрей Викторович Корабейников ; born April 1, 1987 in Ust-Kamenogorsk , Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh ice hockey player who has been under contract with Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk in the Vysschaja Hockey League since 2010 .

Career

Andrei Korabeinikow began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk . From there he moved to Barys Astana , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Kazakh ice hockey championship in the 2003/04 season . From 2005 to 2007 the defender played for Kaszink-Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk in the Vysschaja Liga , the second Russian division, and also occasionally for its second team in the Kazakh championship. For the 2007/08 season he joined Barys Astana again, for which he was on the ice in the Vysschaya League.

From 2008 to 2010 Korabeinikow played for one year each for Ust-Kamenogorsk and HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk in the Wysschaja Liga. For the 2010/11 season he was once again committed to his home club Kaszink-Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk, for which he has since played in the newly founded Wysschaja Hockey League .

International

For Kazakhstan Korabeinikow took part in the junior division in the U18 World Junior Championships in Division I 2004 and 2005 and the U20 Junior World Championships in Division I in 2006 and 2007 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad for the first time at the 2012 World Cup .
