Andrej Golić (born February 10, 1974 in Banja Luka , Yugoslavia ) is a former French handball player of Bosnian-Herzegovinian origin. His playing position was back center .
Career
Andrej Golić is the son of the former Yugoslav handball player and coach Borislav Golić and his Macedonian mother. He grew up in Bosnia-Herzegovina and began playing handball in Banja Luka, where he made his debut in the men's team at the age of 15. In 1991 he moved to France with his father, who was a coach at USAM Nîmes . First he played at Girondins de Bordeaux HBC . Then until 1995 at USAM Nîmes. Then he moved to Montpellier HB . He remained loyal to the club with which he celebrated his greatest successes until 2006. He then moved to RK Zagreb , but had to end his career prematurely in April 2007 due to a knee injury.
Since the end of his career as an active player, Golić has worked as a handball manager and match advisor. He is married to Marié and has one child.

With Montpellier HB Golić was French champion eight times (1998, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006) and was seven times cup winner (1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2006). In 2003 he won the EHF Champions League with Montpellier . In 1998, Golić received French citizenship and then played in the French national team . With France he became world champion in 2001 . In 2003 and 2005 he was third in the World Cup with France. At the Olympic Games in Sydney 2000 he was sixth with France.
