Andrew Airlie
Andrew Airlie (born September 18, 1961 in Glasgow , Scotland ) is a Canadian - Scottish actor . In German-speaking countries he is mainly known for his role as Carrick Gray , Christian Grey's adoptive father in the films Fifty Shades of Gray - Secret Desire , Fifty Shades of Gray - Dangerous Love and Fifty Shades of Gray - Freed Lust . He was also the leading actor in the 20-episode television series The Romeo Section and gained international fame through the role of Michael Corman in Final Destination 2 . He was also seen in several episodes of the American television series Mistresses as Father John . He also played Todd Crane in Intruders and had a nine-episode arc as Stan Lockhart in Cedar Cove . He was also one of the leading actors in the German co-produced television series Defying Gravity - Liebe im Weltall , in which he played Mike Goss , the head of the ground station, who was the third survivor of the original five-man Mars mission.
