Andrew Little (born May 12, 1989 in Enniskillen ) is a Northern Irish football player .
Career
society
Andrew Litte joined the Glasgow Rangers youth division in 2006 from Ballinamallard United, Northern Ireland . In 2008 he scored the 2-1 lead in extra time in the 3-1 final win in the Scottish FA Youth Cup against arch rivals Celtic Glasgow . In July 2008, he signed his first professional contract with the traditional Scottish club Glasgow Rangers, and in his first professional season he was mainly part of the reserve team. He made his competitive debut on April 25, 2009 in the cup semi-finals against FC St. Mirren , when he came on after 81 minutes for Kris Boyd . In the Scottish Premier League he made his debut as a substitute on September 26, 2009 in the game against Aberdeen. He scored his first goal for the Rangers in his fourth league game on January 23, 2010 against the Heart of Midlothian . He came on after 78 minutes for Kirk Broadfoot and marked the 1-1 equalizer for the Rangers eleven minutes later.
National team
Little went through all of Northern Ireland's youth national teams from U-17 . He made his debut for the U-21 selection on August 19, 2008 in the game against Poland. After four games for Northern Ireland's U-21s, Andrew Little made his debut on March 28, 2009 for the Northern Irish national football team in the game against Poland, coming on for David Healy in the 92nd minute . He made his second appearance for Northern Ireland on June 6, 2009 against Italy, when he was allowed to play from the start. In the 82nd minute he was substituted for Martin Donnelly .
